MS. ETTA YINENE SETON

A sunset on Earth is a sunrise in Heaven. God saw you were getting tired so he called you home to rest.

It is with deep sadness that we the Setons, Cummings, Salehs, Enzlers, Dixons, Whites and Allissons announce the death of our dear beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, aunt and friend, Miss Etta Yinene Seton. She passed away suddenly at the Women and Infants Hospital at Providence, Rhode Island on Friday, June 26, 2009 .

Etta is survived by her sister: Helena Seton Roberts, two brothers: Allen Sieh Seton and Waakah Seton, her two sons: Ernest Saleh and Lawrence Saleh, and four daughters: Julia Nyepan White, Lala Saleh, Gloria Enzler and Patricia Dixon, twenty three grand children, eight great grand children and a host of other relatives and friends in Liberia, Lebanon and the United States of America.

MR. CHARLES C. NEWTON, SR.

The Newton, Ben and Ezike families with prayers and thanksgiving, regret to announce the home-going of Mr. Charles C. Newton, Sr.  This sad event occurred on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at the Walker Methodist Center, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Mr. Newton, in is 91st year, was a teacher for many years in Pleebo, Maryland County, Liberia, West Africa.  He was a devoted Christian and a long time member of Grant Memorial United Methodist Church in Pleebo.  He later became a member of Oakland Avenue United Methodist Church when he relocated to the US in the nineties.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret D. Newton, 8 children: Ms. Mai Brown, Rose Newton Ezike(Emmanuel), Charles C. Newton, Jr.(Elizabeth), Wellington Toe Newton(Teresa), David Newton(Josephine), Ms. Barley Newton, Ms. Margaret Newton, Danlette Nimpson (Fokah);  22 grand children,  18 great grand children, plus a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends in Liberia, Europe and the United States.  His Eldest son, Edmund B. N. Newton, Sr., predeceased him in 1990.

Home Going of Hiliary Alexander Gibson Sr


We are sorry to announce that early in the morning on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 in Long Island, New York, Hiliary Alexander Gibson, Sr. departed this earthly world and took his journey to be with the Lord. He is no longer suffering, or in pain, but rejoicing in the presence of the Lord with loved ones who departed before him. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Agnes Gibson, his children; George Gibson, Julia A. Gibson, Kaweda M. Ashley, Hiliary A. Gibson Jr, Dew and Catherine G. McCauley, grandchildren; Janielle, Kelyle, Christopher, Kaliah, Dylan, stepchildren; Wylma, Harriette, Harry, & Deyen Yuan Sr, Kaemah Dolo, stepgrandchildren; Zoraa Quoie, Kayla Tukpei, Daphne Cox, Kayra, Abigail, & Deyen Yuan Jr, Allen Dolo Jr, and a host of relatives and friends.

Bro Gib, Gibby Gib, Gibson is what his family and friends affectionately called him. Words cannot express our heartfelt sadness in our loss of a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Please keep the family in your prayers and we thank you all for your support.
